I have been in the technology field for fifteen plus years. I have focused on networks and all aspects of them. I have run Internet Service Providers, I have track hackers around the world, I have managed school networks and labs. This does not make me any more correct in my view then anyone else, but at least with this info you know where I am coming from.

Aside from the adrenaline rush you get from following a hacker and catching them at their own game, I have learned that I get the most satisfaction from teaching others. So that is where I plan on opening this site to. I want to create a location that people can go to to learn and interact with others on subjects that we either love or have to put up with. I hope to cover the many security domains and the common since that sometimes is all that is needed to make the right decision. To help people see that often the best answer is the one that is the simplest.

Now I am still working in the field. Currently I work for the government as the Network Administrator, so I don’t want you to get the wrong idea. I am not a teacher by profession, I am out there in the trenches every day. I also have a side business doing security audits for company’s and helping them protect their business.
